Has anyone grown celery from seeds before? None of my first attemot germinated (sporinkled seeds on top of soil as advised because they need light to germinate).
For the second attempt i covered my seed tray in cling film and after a week or so a good 30 or so tiny seedlings came up.
I left the clingfilm on for a couple of weeks, the seedling really didnt progress much but continued to look healthy.
When eventually they reached the clingfilm i removed it, went out for the morning and when i returned at lunch all the seedling had dried up !! The soil was not dry.
Has anyone succeeded at growing these from seeds and if so, how??
