Commiserations to the carnival people cos they didn't need this rain but hey it has certainly been good for the garden and allotments. I measured 8mm (.35 inch) on my rain gauge in the garden. Have just been to cut a cabbage and all the plots look really perked up. A bit of warm weather this week and the weeds will be taking over again - oh well that's life!!
