I'm Jon and I am on the St Peter's Mill Site.
I've had my allotment since last summer (August i think) and dug about 2/3 of it over winter. The rest is still under carpet awaiting this winter for the final push.
I was lucky enough to get a load of really heavy duty wood off a skip and have made 4 big raised beds and have 6 smaller raised beds too for odds and ends.
I totally love growing stuff, eating it and brewing it up into wine!
Here a couple of pics from the year - sort of before and after.
And this summer - having grown some veg - I was able to return the favour with a veg box to the guys that let me have the wood last year.
